A Grey County OPP officer is facing charges following an investigation.
The OPP Professional Standards Bureau launched a probe into the court testimony of an officer which was delivered under oath.
Their investigation found that the officer committed perjury while testifying during the trial in January.
41 year old Constable Rick A. Sadler is now charged with perjury, obstructing justice and breach of trust contrary to the Criminal Code.
Constable Sadler is a five year member of the Grey County OPP detachment, but now has been suspended from duty.
