If you’re looking for something to do with mom this Mother’s Day weekend, you can bond while helping the environment.
CAA, Trees Ontario and local tree planting partners are hosting a free community tree planting event at Grey Sauble Conservation Authority today.
The event is designed to engage communities in local reforestation projects, and to increase awareness about the importance of trees, shade and urban green spaces.
The event takes place from 10 AM until Noon at Grey Sauble Conservation on Inglis Falls road in Owen Sound.
Families are invited to plant trees to leave a family legacy for Mother’s Day.
