Voter turnout for this federal election was high across the region.
It was highest in Huron Bruce at 68 per cent — an increase from 65 per cent recorded in the 2008 federal election.
In Bruce Grey Owen Sound — voter turnout this year hit 65 per cent, up from 61 per cent in 2008.
In Simcoe Grey — voter turnout was 66 per cent — an increase from 60 per cent three years ago.
Nationally — voter turnout was at about 61 per cent in this federal election — up from 59 per cent in 2008.
