For sale: One use airport hangar.
South Bruce Peninsula is selling the Marsden Hangar located on leased land at the Wiarton Keppel International Airport.
Mayor John Close says the municipality bought the property about six years ago but has come to the conclusion private concerns could operate the hangar more efficiently.
Close says they are in the process of listing the property to see if there will be any takers.
He says six years ago the municipality bought the hangar for 70 thousand dollars.
The property has yet to be appraised so there’s no selling price at this time.
