The Grey-Bruce Health Unit has found the dog wanted after a biting incident in Owen Sound.
The owner of the dog came forward after hearing a public plea by the Health Unit.
A boy was bit by a small white dog in the area of 14th Street West and 4th Avenue West on Monday, April 11th.
The Health Unit wanted to make sure the dog did not have rabies so they would not have to start a month-long series of needles and treatments on the boy.
The dog will remain in isolation for one more day.
The Health Unit says all dogs involved in biting incidents are confined regardless of vaccine status.
Officials believe the young boy involved was not exposed to the rabies virus.
Public Health does not anticipate any charges or further action to be taken in this matter.
