Brockton is giving kids passports for a twist on the PLAY Bruce-Grey program.
Recreation Wellness Programmer Lynn Davidson says they are trying to get as many kids as active as possible with fun winter games and programming.
Davidson says the Brockton Winter PLAY Passport has 16 boxes for kids to check off, and if they do at least 10 of the activities, they could win a prize.
She says the activities include things like free public skating, snowshoeing on the Saugeen River Trail, playing road hockey, and making snow angels.
Davidson says there are also links to the Ontario Early Years Centre and the municipal website for more free programs.
Kids have until March 31st to complete at least 10 activities, and then they can bring their passport into the Walkerton Community Centre.
Davidson says there will be a draw for three prizes — an hour ice rental at the Walkerton Community Centre, a youth swim pass for the 2011 season, or a 25 dollar gift certificate to put towards other Parks & Rec Programming.
