One lucky woman in Tiverton is going to Scotland.
Betty Fitzsimmons entered a raffle conducted by the Bruce County Historical Society for an all expenses paid trip to Scotland, and her winning ticket was drawn on December 4th.
Betty and a guest will fly to Glasgow in May for a eight day bus tour of Scotland, with stops including Loch Ness, St Andrews, and Edinburgh.
Betty will be staying in first class hotels, lots of food and entertainment, all valued at more than four thousand dollars.
She says she’s been to Scotland before when she was a teenager and is really excited to going back.
Betty is most looking forward to the whole Scottish experience; the food, the people, and the drink with a stop at a whiskey distillery planned.
