Environment Canada issued a tornado watch Sunday night as severe thunderstorms moved into the region from Lake Huron.
Environment Canada’s alert was for potential development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes.
However, there were no reports of tornadoes touching down across the region.
The storm did knock out electricity to thousands of homes in the region — most of the power will be stored on Monday morning.
