Unit 3 at Bruce Power in Tiverton should be back up and running now after an unplanned shutdown.
Bruce Power vice president of corporate affairs Murray Elston says the unit shut down after a monitoring device failed.
Elston says there was no reactor fatigue in the shutdown but the unit remained down for a couple of days.
He says it wasn’t a major issue but nevetheless the monitoring device had to be repaired before the unit could be put back in operation.
