The Bayshore Broadcasting News Centre has won another award.
The Radio and Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) has announced we won the Best Small Market Radio Newscast for the Central Region.
That marks the fifth year in a row that Bayshore Broadcasting has won the Byron MacGregor Award for Best Newscast.
This year’s award is for a newscast (on MIX 106.5 FM with Dan McLean) for our coverage of a winter storm.
We will accept the award at the Central awards banquet on May 7th in Waterloo.
It’s also the same night that Bayshore Broadcasting President and General Manager Ross Kentner will receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
The newscast will now be judged for National honours that will be awarded in June (23-25) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
