Another Anti-Conservative web site has popped up during the Federal election campaign.
Voteforenvironment.ca is a loose grouping of Liberal, NDP and Green supporters who are concerned about another Conservative government in Ottawa, and are terrified Stephen Harper might get a majority.
Co-founder of the web site, Alice Klein says their goal is to provide information about individual ridings where voting strategically could result in a vastly different House of Commons.
In our area, the web site projects two fairly safe ridings for the Conservatives.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound looks pretty solid for Larry Miller, and Simcoe Grey looks like a run-away for Helena Geurgis.
In those ridings, they recommend you vote your heart.
However, in Huron Bruce polling shows a very tight race with Conservative Ben Lobb ahead of Liberal Greg McClinchey.
For Huron Bruce, voteforenvironment.ca recommends people vote Liberal to block the Conservatives from winning.
Klein says there are some 50 ridings that are close and voting strategically for the party with the best chance of beating the Tories could change the dynamic in the House of Commons dramatically.
The web site has have over one million page views and over 50 thousand hits in the last few days.
