There is a new trustee at the table of the Bluewater District School Board. Rick Galbraith has been sworn in as a trustee replacement for the area of Meaford and the Town of the Blue Mountains. Galbraith is filling the vacancy left by Jean Sullivan’s retirement in February due to health concerns. 6 people had applied for the position. Galbraith says he is looking forward to being a part of the decision making process for the school accommodation review. He says the school board is heading down a really strong path with future decisions on assessment and evaluation and declining enrollment. Galbraith has lived in Meaford for 25 years and is a retired principal. Galbraith says he wants to continue his contribution to education within the Bluewater District School Board.
