Right To Life Chains are being held today across the region.
Organizer of the Saugeen Shores event, Dave Lepper says it’s the Right To Life Chain is a peaceful public witness of pro-life people standing for one hour.
They are praying for our nation and for an end to abortion.
Lepper says it’s a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children.
He says they silently hold up signs to oncoming traffic promoting a change to current legislation.
Examples of signs include: “Abortion Kills Children”, “Adoption – the Loving Option”, and “Pray to End Abortion”.
Chains run from 2 until 3 in the afternoon in most places.
The one in Saugeen Shores, starts at St. Patrick’s Church in Southampton.
