Saugeen Shores Police Chief Dan Rivett says motorists are travelling too fast down that stretch of the road.
Rivett reminds motorists it is posted as 50 km an hour, headed north, until the Lakeshore Recreation Centre, when it becomes a 60km an hour road.
He says motorists are treating it like a highway, since four lanes are apparent, and travelling at or in excess of 80 km an hour.
As of this morning Rivett says they have dispatched several officers to that site specifically.
He says they are monitoring the section with radars, and are prepared to issue tickets on the spot for those caught speeding.
If you are caught going 70 km in a 50, the ticket will cost you 95 dollars and 3 demerit point, 80 in a 50 results in a 220 dollar fine and 4 demerit points.
