Look up, look way up if you are in Harrison Park in Owen Sound today.
If you do you will be seeing 25 men and five women showing off their tree climbing skills.
Its all part of the International Society of Arborists of Ontario 20th annual tree climbing competition.
Paul Kobold is an Arborist for the City of Toronto and one of the organizers of this years competition and says they chose Harrison Park because of its mature trees.
He says this competition is nothing like the timber shows you see on television with Lumberjacks racing up trees with chainsaws.
Kobold says this competition is based activities they do everyday for a living.
He says the competitors must climb a tree with full equipment and performed designated tasks and then descend all within a specified time limit.
He says there are five different events the men and women will compete in and the winners then will compete in the Masters challenge.
Kobold says winner of that competition then will move on the International Tree Climbing competition in Rhode Island in 2009.
He says in addition to the tree climbing, experts will be on hand to answer any questions people may have about tree care.
The competition goes between 9 in the morning and 4.30 in the afternoon at Harrison Park.
