But Murdoch says he was going to suggest ideas that if Tory supported, would have changed his support for the Conservative leader.
Murdoch says this is a blow to democracy.
The local MPP says the decision was made by “the executive of the Conservative caucus” which he didn’t know even existed.
Murdoch feels the decision has proved his point that caucus members were not allowed to express their views freely.

But the Bruce Grey Owen Sound member has received a lot of support at this week’s International Plowing Match and in emails to his office.
Murdoch says people are tired of party politics.
Murdoch adds he has no intention of crossing the floor at Queens Park and he is prepared to sit as a “Conservative independent” when the legislature resumes Monday.
