A growing Ontario Restaurant chain is expanding into Owen Sound.
The Kings Buffet Group had purchased the old Copper Ridge Restaurant on 10th west, at the top of the hill and plans to open its doors by the end of November.
Company President James Lee says ever since they opened their first restaurant in Midland, they have had their eye on Owen Sound.
He says the Owen Sound establishment will offer the same wide variety of Chinese as well as Canadian dishes, which are served in an attractive environment by professionally trained staff.
He says this restaurant will not be as large as some of the Kings Buffet establishments in Kitchener Hamilton or West Toronto, but will be just as attractive.
Lee says they will be creating about 40 new jobs with this new facility.
He says two older homes on either side of the building will be demolished to make room for an expanded parking lot.
Since its initial Midland launch in 1997 Kings Buffet has created hundreds of new jobs province-wide.
