RCMP in Kitchener worked with 9 police services including those in Saugeen Shores, West Grey police and Hanover Police.
Over 4 days ending on Friday (aug. 29th)…. police targeted outdoor marijuana grow ops in Southwestern Ontario.
The 9 different police forces shared information on a number of grow sites and when it was over police estimate they seized and destroyed an estimated 5 million dollars worth of marijuana.
No break-down is available on how many marijuana plants were uncovered in the West Grey, Saugeen Shores and Hanover areas.
Police have not released any information yet on arrests in connection with the huge outdoor grow ops.
