The fair season is upon us and Kincardine is next up.
The 157th annual Kincardine Fair put on by the agricultural society kicks off today (FRI) and continues tomorrow (SAT) at Connaught Park.
Society past president Eric Stewart admits it’s not a big fair but they still expect a thousand visitors.
Stewart says the idea is to bring the agricultural story to the urban setting.
They’ll do that by having plenty of activities and competitions throughout the two days.
One of the highlights on Saturday is the parade at 11:30 which will leave Victoria Park and head down Queen to Broadway and then to Connaught Park.
Things get underway at 6 PM tonight (FRI) and continue tomorrow from 9 AM
There are also fall fairs in Durham, Desboro, Meaford and Mount Forest this weekend.
