Arran Elderslie is set to begin the search for a new CAO/clerk.
Joan Albright is retiring from the position at the end of this year.
Mayor Ron Oswald announced the formation of a committee to find her replacement at the municipality’s last council meeting.
The committee is chaired by Councillor Ross Herron and includes Oswald, Deputy Mayor Mary Cumming and Councillor Paul Eagleson.
Oswald says the committee held a meeting last week to talk to senior staff about the position and says no one on their staff wants it.
Oswald says they will soon advertise for the position.
Oswald adds their is no rush in finding the postion saying they will take their time finding the right person.
