The West Grey Fire Department is getting a new vehicle.
Council has approved the purchase of a new pumper tanker for the Neustadt fire station.
The cost is over 250 thousand dollars.
The new truck will arrive next year.
Mayor Kevin Eccles says they had to replace the current pumper because it’s 29 years old and doesn’t meet new provincial standards.
