Grey Bruce is getting a visit from the Federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans later this week.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller says that Loyola Hearn will be in the area on Thursday and will make an announcement in Tobermory at the Tobermory Community Centre followed by a trip to Flower Pot Island for an announcement there.
From Flower Pot Island, Minister Hearn and Mr. Miller will be heading to Cove Island Lighthouse which is celebrating its 150th anniversary for a tour.
In adition the Minister will tour the Bruce Peninsula National Park Visitors Centre.
Friday the Fisheries Minister will meet with officials of the Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen Association, make an announcement at Wiarton Harbour then visit the Sydenham Sportsmen Fish Hatchery for a tour.
