A tragic weekend at Sauble Beach.
65 year old Bernard Meyer of Waterloo drowned at the Beach on Saturday afternoon.
Bruce Peninsula OPP say the man went into the water around 22nd Street South with a flutter board.
But he was separated from the board in strong waves.
Family members found him floating a short time later and pulled him to shore where they administered CPR.
The man was taken to the Wiarton hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
