It’s all part of the 15th annual Steam and Antique show underway now at the Heritage Farm, just south of Paisley on Bruce County Road Three.
On Soundingboard Wednesday spokesperson Ken Kelly says this years theme of the 3-day event is “Lesser Known Classics.”
Kelly says when the tractor technology first began, all sorts of small manufacturers popped up producing the new farm equipment.
He says many have fallen by the wayside while others eventually were gobbled up by a few major players.
But some of the original tractors still exist and close to 20 lesser known classics will be on display at the event.
Kelly points out a Hume tractor will be on display and to the best of his knowledge it is the only one of its kind in the world.
Besides all the equipment, there’s plenty of entertainment each day and special programs for the ladies and for the children.
Kelly says there’s plenty of parking with Saturday and Sunday’s events getting underway at 9am.
Kelly says last year they saw 13,000 visitors to the site and they’re hoping for more this year.
