The Grey Bruce Health Unit has given the public beaches in Southampton, Port Elgin and Inverhuron a clean bill of health.
Manager Safe Water at the unit, Lou D’Alessandro says they took water samples at the beaches on Thursday and the test results show the levels are within acceptable standards.
Residents and tourists have been concerned since a 9 year old girl vacationing in Port Elgin became sick with Ecoli.
And the Inverhuron beach was posted earlier this week as well.
D’Alessandro says the water was not the problem.
But there’s still no source of infection for the nine year old girl, who is recovering in a London hospital.
The beach at the Inverhuron Provincial Park has also been deemed safe to swim again.
