When police stopped the vehicle, early on Wednesday, August 6th, on Front Street in Southampton, four teen-aged males from Saugeen Shores were inside with three large flag poles and flags.
Two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old were warned about their “adventure” and released.
The fourth–an 18 year old–was warned about the flagging caper but was charged with breaching conditions of a release on another matter.
Police have returned two of the three flags to their owners but are still looking for the owner of a large Southampton flag.
If it’s yours give police a call at 519-832-9200.
