A 15 year old girl Saugeen Shores girl, fighting brain cancer has lost her battle.
Caitlyn Cobean died Saturday from the illness.
Numerous fund raisers were held over the past six months to help her family pay for expenses surrounding her cancer treatments.
Back in January of 2007 more than 12 hundred people showed up for a charity hockey game in Port Elgin that raised more than 25 thousand dollars for the Cobean family.
Visitation is today from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Kent Milroy Funeral Home in Port Elgin.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow in Port Elgin United Church at 2 in the afternoon.
Following internment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, a reception will be held in Rotary Hall at The Plex.
Memorial contributions to “BrainChild” (Brain Tumour Research) at the Hospital for Sick Children, or Camp Kintail would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
