This man was in a hurry.
South Bruce OPP clocked a vehicle speeding at 124 kilometres an hour in an 80-K zone on Highway 9 between Kincardine and Walkerton around 7 AM last Friday morning.
A 25 year old St. Catherines man was stopped.
But to add insult to injury — the police officer detected an odour of alcohol and a breath test showed the man was more than one and a half times over the legal limit.
Not only has the man lost his vehicle and licence for seven days, he also faces impaired driving charges.
