As you drive along highway 21 in the former Kincardine township, many more wind turbines are visible just south of Bruce Road 20.
Enbridge general manager Bob Simpson says 89 turbines are up in the 4 hundred million dollar project.
Simpson says they are into final commissioning of the sub station located on Bruce County Road 6.
He says they should have the first group of turbines operating and hooked up to the grid this month.
Simpson says they will be bringing them on in groups of three.
In all 110 turbines at the Kincardine Township site will be erected.
Another five will be located in the former Cruickshank development north of Kincardine.
Simpson says the turbines will provide enough energy to power 35,000 homes.
