A 42 year old man faces numerous charges after fighting with a West Grey Police officer.
The unidentified man was found camping on a property that wasn’t his on concession 18 in Normanby Township on the weekend.
When he was approached by a group of youths early Sunday morning — he fired a gunshot in the air.
The group then called Police and the suspect punched the officer and struggled with him as he tried to break free.
The group of youths helped the officer handcuff the man.
The 42 year old from Normanby Township faces a long list of charges including possession of a dangerous weapon and assault.
Police also seized several firearms from the man — who is wanted by another police department.
