Physician recruitment continues to be an uphill battle in Hanover.
Medical Chief of Staff Doctor Robert Basilij is encouraging the Hanover and District Hospital to invest more time in recruitment efforts.
Basilij says it’s important to take the time to get to know potential recruits as well as their families — know their interests, hobbies and send flowers or other kind gestures.
Basilij says it’s unrealistic to expect staff to accomplish all of this and he hopes the Physician Recruitment Committee will invest more time into their work.
