A Holland Centre man has pleaded guilty to three counts of tax evasion.
Robert Paul Morrison has been fined over 47 thousand dollars and has to pay it off within five years.
The fine is in addition to any taxes owed, as well as any interest and penalties from the Canada Revenue Agency.
A CRA audit from 2003 to 2007 claims Morrison evaded federal income tax totalling over 61 thousand dollars and evaded GST totalling 33 and a half thousand dollars.
Morrison operates a masonry contracting business in the Owen Sound area.
