A former School Council mom is the newest trustee to be sworn in at the Bruce Grey Catholic School Board.
Lori DiCastri is the only new face on the local school but she is excited to serve as a trustee.
After years as a parent School Council member, DiCastri says’s ready to take the leap to the trustee table.
DiCastri admits it will be a pretty steep learning curve, but says she’s no rookie to the education system.
She plans to draw upon her experience as a parent council member to assist her in this new role as trustee.
DiCastri is confident that she can bring a fresh and unique perspective to the table.
She says ensuring her daughter has the best Catholic education possible is her number one priority.
