The Ministry of Transportation reports….
Highway 21 is now closed between Port Elgin and Amberley.
The OPP say due to High Winds and almost nil visibility—– Highway 21 from Amberley to Kincardine has been closed late today.
Highway 21 remains closed from Kincardine to Port Elgin, drifiting snow has reduced Highway 21 to 1 lane in spots north of Kincardine.
However, Highway 21 from Amberley to Goderich and down to Grand Bend is open.

Grey County Highways reports;
Owen Sound, Chatsworth & surrounding areas — Snow covered with heavy snowfall west of Grey Road 3, causing fair visibility at times. Other areas of the patrol are reported as bare and wet, and bare and dry with good visibility.
Meaford, Thornbury & surrounding areas — Centre bare and track bare with drifted sections. Visibility is good.
Durham, Hanover & surrounding areas — Bare and wet, and bare and dry with centre bare, track bare and lightly drifted sections. Visibility is good.
Dundalk, Flesherton & surrounding areas — Mainly bare and damp with some ground drifted sections on the east/west bound roads. Visibility is good.

Roads in the Walkerton, Mildmay, Teeswater & surrounding areas — Bare and wet, snow covered and snow packed with moderate ground drifting.
Roads in the Lucknow, Ripley, Kincardine, Tiverton & surrounding areas — Snow packed and slippery. There are squalls in the Teeswater area and drifting caused by moderate to strong northwest winds especially along the lake.
Roads in the Paisley, Port Elgin, Chesley, Tara & surrounding areas — Bare and wet, track bare and snow covered. Intermittent squall activity and strong north winds.
Roads in the Wiarton, Southampton, Sauble Beach, Lion’s Head & surrounding areas — Bare and dry in the north. South of Wiarton the roads are snow covered, track bare and slushy. There is a gusty west wind with intermittent localized squalls.
