This year’s best float in the Southampton Santa Claus Parade is going to the Chantry Island Chambettes.
The theme of this year’s parade — held on Friday December 3rd — was “The 12 Days of Christmas” and local businesses and residents brought out their best.
The Chambettes won best overall award for their 12 Days Float.
The winner of the Best Commercial Float was Kenny’s Custom Upholstery with Hair Comes Jen and Riverside HVAC & Contracting Ltd.
The Saugeen Shores Fire Department won for best float by an organization or religious group.
And the Best Junior or School Float went to the 2nd Southampton Girl Guides, while Best Live Animal Float and Best Costume both went to the Southampton Pet Hospital and their Dancing Dalmatian.
