Charlie Bagnato has some parting advice for the new council.
Bagnato encourages the new council to work together as a team and always put the ratepayers of Brockton first.
He also requests that anyone who supported him in the past now place their full support behind mayor elect Dave Inglis.
Bagnato believes it will take some time for the new Mayor and three new Councillors to adjust, but he is confident they will adapt soon enough.
Bagnato says it is a rewarding job that comes with an awesome responsibility.
Bagnato says he has no regrets from being Mayor over the last seven years.
Bagnato feels they accomplished a lot in the last seven years and the municipality is headed in the right direction.
As for Bagnato, he too plans to remain busy as he focuses his energy on his new role as the Federal Liberal candidate for the Huron Bruce riding.
