Grey County will be doing some work to its communications tower in Woodford.
The County will spend 40 thousand dollars to reinforce the tower.
A structural analysis revealed the tower needs structural reinforcement to safely accommodate installations of communications equipment.
The tower also needs to be enhanced to withstand the winter weather.
Grey County Director of Information Technology Geoff Hogan says the work will be done within the next 90 days.
A number of telecommunications companies — including Telus, Bell and Rogers — use the tower.
