The Bruce Peninsula Association for Community Living has ratified its contract with OPSEU.
The organization voted in favour of the agreement on Tuesday night after 95 per cent of the counsellors ratified the deal on Monday.
It’s the first contract for the 60 counsellors and it was reached with the help of a mediator last Thursday, just hours before they were set to strike.
The agreement includes no raises — but it spells out the conditions of employment.
Community Living operates four group homes and two day programs in Wiarton and workers help individuals with developmental or emotional disabilities.
