There’s still about a thousand Bell Canada customers impacted by a severed underground cable in downtown Owen Sound.
Communications and Public Affairs Officer at Bell Canada, Norma Hughes Howard says power’s been restored to about 12 hundred customers.
She says crews once again worked through the nite and are staying on-site all day and night.
She says they hope to have full service restored Monday morning.
Construction crews working at 9th Street bridge in downtown Owen Sound severed a series of cables on Friday morning.
Numerous homeowners on the west side of Owen Sound and some businesses were affected.
