A 21 year old Owen Sound woman faces numerous charges following a recent rash of Break and Enters in the City.
She was arrested following an investigation by Owen Sound Police Detectives.
Police allege the woman was entering unlocked homes and was stealing, purses, money, jewellery and some electronics.
In some cases the home owner was home at the time, either working outside or occupied in another part of the house.
Owen Sound police believe the suspect is also responsible for other thefts, including a purse from a west side church.
In that case, the victims purse was stolen along with her I.D. and house keys during a Sunday service.
The following Sunday, the suspect allegedly tried to enter the victims home while she was at Church but the locks had been changed.
Owen Sound police searched an east-side home and found some of the stolen property, including money, jewellery, credit cards and house keys.
The woman faces several charges including five counts of Break & Enter, and four counts of Possession of Stolen Property.
