Batten down the hatches!
After a night of heavy rain, we can expect a day of stiff winds along the coast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
Bayshore Broadcasting Weather Specialist John Wilson says most of the rain has already fallen, but a deep low pressure system is settling in.
Wilson says winds will likely blow around 60 kilometres an hour with stronger gusts closer to the lake.
He says the wind may not be as strong inland, but you can still expect to be blown around a bit.
And of course, Wilson is predicting rain off and on throughout the day, so bring an umbrella and make sure you’ve got a firm grip!
