South Bruce Peninsula councillor Yvonne Harron is dropping her quest for an election recount.
Harron lost by only two votes to winning Ward 2 candidate Jay Kirkland in October.
As per the rules, she approached council on November 9th request approval of a recount but she didn’t get it.
The request failed in a tie vote.
Harron had until Thursday to go after a court ordered recount.
However during a break in a regular council meeting this week — Harron told Bayshore Broadcasting News she would not pursue the matter any further.
