Four people were sent to hospital after a two car crash on Highway 21 south of Port Elgin.
Saugeen Shores Police first arrived on scene just before 4 PM on Monday.
Fire and emergency services were also on hand.
The investigation was then taken over by South Bruce OPP.
Police say a 74 year old man was turning into a driveway across the path of oncoming north-bound traffic, when a car with three others inside hit the truck, unable to avoid the collision.
All four people were taken to Southampton Hospital by ambulance, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.
The 74 year old man has been charged for an unsafe turn under the Highway Traffic Act.
