A lot of new faces have been roaming around the Bruce nuclear generating station in Tiverton.
Bruce Power Community and Government Relations Manager Ross Lamont says they just had their peer review done.
Lamont notes it happens every two years — when managers from other facilities come in and look at the operations, safety and best practices of the plant.
He says it’s another set of eyes from the outside.
Lamont says the purpose of the program is for members of the World Association of Nuclear Operators to help each other improve their work practices and safety standards.
The visitors will give a detailed report of the state of Bruce Power in a couple of months.
Lamont also notes currently there are Bruce Power employees doing the same type of thing at other plants.
