It’s time to celebrate the best in business in Owen Sound.
The Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence awards celebrating their 20th anniversary on Wednesday night.
One of the organizers Stephanie Murray says they have planned alot to help celebrate 20 years including a red carpet, some winning alumni to return and exciting entertainment.
Murray says the night’s theme is Hollywood Glam.
Another new item this year is a few of the categories for business to win in.
Murray says one of the new awards is the skills trade excellence award to be mixed in the categories that have been around for years like the hospitality award, business of the year and entrepreneur of the year.
Murray says business of the year award always is saved until the last as it is one of the most sought after awards.
She adds there are a few businesses who have been nominated in several categories including Merry Maids and Infinity Network.
The night includes a gourmet meal and top notch entertainment such as belly dancers and sword swallowers.
The Owen Sound Little Theatre will also feature a preview of their upcoming performance of Hello Dolly.
The evening starts at 7 PM at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
