Two hundred ladies are preparing to be pampered at this year’s Pretty in Pink luncheon.
Chair Sylvia Sheard says the sold-out event gets underway Sunday at 11 AM at the Lakeshore Recreation Club in Saugeen Shores.
Sheard says the ladies will have fun, with plenty of food and fashion, door prizes and a silent auction as well, not to mention the eighteen vendors that pamper to the ladies.
She says the “Pretty Boys” will be in attendance again this year, escorting the ladies to their tables and tending to their needs.
Sheard says this is the second time they’ve put on this event, with last year’s inaugural raising 10 thousand dollars.
They hope to raise around the same this year as well.
The money goes to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation for research.
John Divinski, from 98 the Beach, is the emcee for this year’s event.
Sheard also promises a surprise this Sunday but declined to elaborate any further.
