The town of Saugeen Shores has hired a new Director of Public Works.
Stuart Doyle has been promoted from his job as the town’s Civil Engineering Technologist.
CAO Larry Allison says the interview panel met with a number of well qualified candidates last week — but decided on Doyle as the best person for the job.
Allison says Doyle’s capabilities, dedication and commitment made him standout over the other candidates.
Doyle has been employed with the town of Saugeen Shores since 2006.
Doyle replaces Bill Jones — who leaves at the end of October to become CAO of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
