Voter ballots should be at your house now in Saugeen Shores, and you should be ready to send them in if you vote by mail.
Clerk Linda White says in order to make your vote count on October 25th, ballots have to be in the mail by October 16th
She says that’s the last day Canada Post has assured them the ballots will get to the municipality in time.
If you do not have a ballot yet, White says to stop into the town office, call, or e-mail them and they can get one to you.
If you miss the deadline to mail your ballot back in, or if you don’t want to mail it, you can drop them off at municipal hall.
White says there is an overnight drop-off box as well.
Saugeen Shores does not have polling stations open on election day.
As of this week, White says they’ve received 18 hundred ballots back, which is 15 per cent of voters in Saugeen Shores.
