One Bluewater District School Board trustee thinks trustees are getting a raw deal in this municipal election.
Kincardine/Huron Kinloss Trustee Jan Johnstone is calling on School Councils should be holding all-candidates meeting focusing on where there are races for trustees.
Johnstone isn’t one of them, having been acclaimed for another term.
She says public education is the second-largest part of the provincial budget and everyone should be interested in how their money is being spent.
Johnstone was reacting to a story she heard from Owen Sound where an all candidates meeting excluded the board of ed trustee candidates.
