The Bible Parable of the Talents is coming to life for students in the Bruce Grey Catholic School Board.
The Director of Education is giving 100 dollars to every school and challenging the students to do what they can to multiply the money.
Bruce MacPherson says it will provide students with a great lesson in social justice.
Once the exercise is over, all the monies will be collected and handed over to the Grey Bruce United Way to support their Back Pack program.
MacPherson says the way students multiply the money is up to them, whether it’s through dances, bake sales, spirit days or raffles.
In the Parable of the Talents, a Master entrusts three servants with talents the currency of the day.
Upon his return, the three servants are called before him to see what they did with his money.
